The Recruiting Specialist collaborates with hiring managers and the Recruiting team to ensure positions are filled with highly-talented candidates and is responsible for managing the full lifecycle recruitment process for a variety of customer service (non-exempt) representative positions—Brand Ambassadors. The Recruiting Specialist will follow best-in-class sourcing practices in order to attract amazing team members and match client program expectations with candidate skill set, experience, attitude, aptitude, and cultural fit. The Recruiting Specialist will conduct interviews, document results, and make sound recommendations.

  • Meets high-volume recruiting goals with appropriate candidates for each program while fully understanding business objectives
  • Actively recruit and source Brand Ambassadors via all available channels to fill open positions
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and unique requirements to recruit and source candidates including building partnerships with departments
  • Navigate workflow phases in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws by accurately documenting all recruitment activities in the ATS
  • Screens resumes, evaluates video interviews, and conducts telephone interviews to assess candidate competencies, qualifications and culture fit to determine suitability of candidates, and make sound recommendations
  • Document, track, and maintain accurate applicant records and status of engagements in the applicant tracking system, and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws
  • Provides candidates with information on the position, benefits, scheduling, and work environment and answers questions regarding the application process and other topics
  • Demonstrate a consistent screening and evaluation process for all candidates
  • Proactively prioritize, organize, and manage workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment and uses data as a tool to prioritize tasks and responsibilities
  • Ensures compliance in all recruitment and hiring processes
  • Demonstrate a consistent screening and evaluation process for all candidates
  • Participates in post-interview debrief meetings
  • Participates in quality calibration meetings with recruiting team peers as necessary
  • Applies sound judgment and knows when to escalate issues and concerns
  • Assists in the coordination of other recruiting activities and projects as needed


  • HS Degree or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience and comfortable with fast-paced, high-volume recruiting, preferably with home-based team members across the US
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience recruiting from sourcing through final candidate selection
  • Knowledgeable of labor and employment laws
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems, and candidate management systems
  • Experience with contact center/customer care recruiting strongly preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and varying time constraints
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

  • Due to the home-based nature of this job, the Recruiting Specialist is required to have a home-office environment, internet access, USB headset, router, modem, web camera, and a computer system that meets VIPdesk Connect policies and maintenance requirements, including system upgrades as applicable, which may change over time
  • Residency in one of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Nevada, New Mexico, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wisconsin
  • Able to successfully pass a credit, criminal and employment reference security checks
