Job Overview
The financial aid consultant is responsible for working with enrollmentFUEL partners to implement or improve their work within all areas of financial aid. By making recommendations in the best channels to achieve goals, the contractor works with external customers to create solutions to ensure they are meeting their goals and staying within state and federal guidelines in an effective and efficient manner. This person works with the internal team to ensure client-partner retention and satisfaction.
Job Tasks:

  1. Manage relationships with top-tier colleges and universities
  2. Presentation and training staff on TIV policies and procedures
  3. Reviewing/developing new policies and procedures
  4. Ensuring TIV compliance is met
  5. Review functional operations of financial aid office
  6. Policies and procedures review
  7. Communicate with clients through Basecamp
  8. Compliance review
  9. Operations review
  10. Conduct training of client-partner staff
  11. Coach client-partners
  12. Create and maintain project timelines
  13. Evaluate and develop strategies in response to client-partner requests
  14. Absorb complex technical concepts and effectively communicate solutions to non-technical audiences
  15. Develop strategies for new developments, interface changes, and client-partner requirements
  16. Present ideas to colleagues
  17. Work with internal team members on various tasks, as needed
  18. Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new product development, delivery, etc.
  19. Attend workshops, conferences, and professional meetings
  20. Responsible for the management of personal travel budget
  21. Attend relevant staff retreats
  22. Other duties as assigned
